I am an artist working under the name Clay Shed Studio. I work across several mediums, primarily ceramics and printmaking/ collage, with a ceramic jewellery range which combine those techniques. Themes that link across all works are mark marking, and the history of making the object itself, recorded in its form and the nature of its surface. I use repetitive patterns combined with fluid expressive brush marks, that explore contrasts in colour, light and shadow or evoke abstracted landscapes. I am Australian and have a BA Hons in Fine Arts Painting and Printmaking. I moved to the UK in 2003.
