I am an award winning oil painter based in the Scottish highlands, where I am inspired by the diversity of landscape, seascape and elemental forces of nature that surround me. My paintings are expressionistic, often bordering on the abstract, but always with the landscape at their root. I like to work "en plein air" as much as I can, and produce both large and small works. I work regularly with several Scottish galleries and welcome approaches from gallery owners. I had my own large and successful gallery for ten years, so I understand the business from both sides!
