Julia designs and decorates lead crystal bowls with original sandblasted designs. Julia set up business in 1989 after finishing a degree in glass and ceramics at Sunderland Poly, she moved to the Scottish Borders in 1993 and has been practicing ever since. All her designs are inspired by nature often on a floral or fishy theme and her patterns are hand drawn onto the glass before being sandblasted into the coloured surface. The bowls are also hand blown in the UK. this is a wholly British product. Julia has collectors around the world and regularly exhibits her work across the UK; she also stock selected galleries and craft shops on a permanent basis.
