Katfish Designs

Katfish Designs is a colourful, characterful collection of accessories, brooches, homewares and original artwork featuring British birds and wildlife and stirred with a good dollop of childlike imagination.

All work is made from UK sourced pure wool tweed, plus some upycycled, recycled and vintage fabrics. Each piece is needle-felted, free motion embroidered and finished by hand, so that it has its own unique personality.

Designer- Maker Kath Baker hails from a Yorkshire tweed manufacturing family hence her passion for sourcing locally sourced tweed in her work.

Sustainability is at the heart of Katfish designs and all materials used, including the packaging, which is ethically sourced and fully recyclable. My tweed is sourced from suppliers in Yorkshire and on the Isle of Harris, and is made from pure wool by artisans using traditional methods.
