- Sandra’s paintings are exhibited in galleries and held in private and corporate art collections across the world.
- Sandra’s work includes the use of silhouettes to explore how bird identification is determined by drawing from recent behaviour and a final image. These works had pared down the image to the bare minimum that is required for identification. Since the pandemic lockdown, Sandra has been exploring how we see in the physical natural environment, and has been adding the hills and mountains near to Edinburgh to her repertoire.
- All products in her homeware range are made in the UK, in small batches and are decorated with translations of Sandra’s original paintings. Sandra’s passion for the natural environment is extended to the use of recycled materials for packaging, keeping to low mileage for production and recycling where possible in her business.
- Working from her home studio she has views of the hills and a wildlife garden, so she is often found working en plein air no matter what the weather..
