dichroic glass jewellery
We are a family business (husband and wife team) based in the New Forest making dichroic glass jewellery. We have been making glass since 2015 and the range has evolved and now many pieces are finished with our handmade eco-silver bails or settings. Our range of jewellery starts with simple double dichroic pendants and earrings which are made by cutting and layering dichroic glass before fusing it in our kiln. More complex mosaic pieces are made by cutting and layering glass to create a slab of glass which is fused in the kiln before cold working the glass with a ring saw and grinder to cut cabochons in shapes such as hearts, butterflies and leaves. The cabochons are then fire polished in the kiln before findings are added or a bespoke eco-silver setting is created. In addition we have a unique range of glass jewellery which incorporates sand from the clients favourite beach into a slab of glass which again can be cold worked into cabochons in varying shapes. We currently supply several shops and galleries some of which have trade accounts and others on a sale or return basis. Our minimum order for trade orders is 10 pieces, these pieces can be a mixture from our range.
