Sue Nicholls Designs

Sue Nicholls is a professional artist specialising in fine art textiles, print and ceramics.

She is based in rural East Hertfordshire and creates work in her garden studio that is inspired by the plants in her garden and local countryside. She works across a range of media – including free-motion embroidery, print (dry-point and linoprint) and ceramics – to create wall art, greetings cards and decorative accessories.

She is a founder member of The Society for Embroidered Art (SEW) and was selected as an exhibitor in their inaugural London show in November 2019. She has also exhibited at the Contemporary Textiles Fair and usually sells through galleries. She also runs free-motion embroidery workshops from her studio.
